Maddie has worked for over 6 years co-creating theatre with communities in London, Greater Manchester, Bristol and the rural South-West.

She facilitates sustained projects working with communities over a number of years and also works on shorter-term projects and productions.

Her work with communities has been staged at HOME, The Met, Niamos and The Kiln.

Currently Maddie is devising two new shows with Unique Community’s ‘Actors Studio’ and is lead facilitator of ContACTING at Contact Theatre, a free course for young people (16-30) interested in devising their own work. Her project Traveling Tales will be exhibited at Atchain Tan during this year’s Glastonbury Festival. Maddie is a founder and co-artistic director of When Blossom Comes, a company co-creating work with communities with and from public spaces. Their show ‘Echoes of Us’, co-created with KLS Elders will run at Wandsworth Art Fringe and Wandsworth Heritage Festival 2025.
